Latest Activities at RHS - 28 Sept 2011

Lately there has been a lot happening in school.

The teachers went for their respective workshops in Savusavu. Madam Tutu went with Head-girl for a SYSTEMS SCHORLARSHIP WORKSHOP.  A week later she went again with the TVET dept for their task and project… Tutu was one busy lady these past weeks. [Photo 6]

Also the buildings in school are being improved. Our roofs are getting screws attached and painted. They look alive
with the color GREEN. [Photo 5]

The boarders are also back in school. They look revitalized and are happy to be in their dorm. When they came and saw the tall grass!!! They laughed for they know they would be spending 20-25 minutes weeding daily as their form of muscle toning. [Photo 1]

The school is also preparing for the Minister of Education’s visit. Beautification is being carried out for he would
be visiting and guess what? He wants to observe the flag ceremony!!!! Well, we have no problem with that for we raise the flag daily. [Photo 2-4]

We also went out to villages for our parents’ day. This is to solve our transport problem .The parents were very
happy with the program. The turnout was 98 -100%.  Not bad huh?
